The Regent Cinema in Mid Wales is one of only a few remaining independent cinemas in the UK. It’s based in the Regent Centre buildng in Newtown, which has housed a cinema since 1920 – making this one of the oldest cinemas in the country.
In recent times The Regent Cinema has undergone a transformation, with the installation of state-of-the-art digital projection technology. This is reflected through the website with a modern, responsive design featuring movie information, trailers and online booking, whilst recognising its roots with detailed information about the history of this local attraction.
